Pals Paper Arts #161

Here is the first of two cards for today. This card I made using the sketch from Pals Paper Arts #161 Sketch Challenge.

 

Normally I do a lot of cards to send out to friends and family. Most of the cards are sent to women. Today I wanted to do a card for one of the men in my life. I think I will save the card and send it to my husband when he is deployed later this year.

 

Here is the card that I came up with.

 

 

I used all black and white washi tape to make the middle background. I then embossed the mustache and Dude! All of the stamps on this card come from Kelly Purkey's Stamp Set in Dude! Lastly I rounded some of the corners just to give it a little more interest.
