I wanted to make something to put on my shelf in my great room. This is what I came up with.
My husband is in the military so I decided to use the phonetic alphabet to spell out I love you. Here is how I completed this project.
First I taped off two inch stripes with blue painters tape.
Then I started painting the stripes with a green paint that I am using as an accent color in my living room.. I then let it dry over night and then took off the tape.
I then used my Cricut to cut out the letters that I was using. I used the Storybook cartridge. I cut out the I LOVE YOU letters in pink. Then I cut the rest of the letters in black.
I then placed the letters on the canvas to see the layout. I then placed all of the letters on the canvas.
After putting on the letters there was still something missing. So I put on some decorative corners from the Storybook cartridge.
I then put two coats of a gloss coat over the top to seal it and this is the finished product.
I really love how the finished product turned out. I put it on the shelf with one of my favorite wedding pictures.
Below is the finished product. I really love it and I hope that you all do too.
I would love any comments. Thank you!
