Deep & Soulful PDCC164

For this weeks challenge over at The Play Date Cafe I decided to make a simple yet I think elegant card.

When first deciding on what to do for the design for this card I came across some great paper that I had been wanting to use and that was my inspiration. I used the paper as my background and here is how the card turned out.

The background paper is Lush 2 Damask by Echo Park. The damask print is done in flocking so it really gives the card some dimension. To finish off the card I used a piece of green card stock and embossed the sentiment Happy Birthday on it in black embossing powder. Then I attached the green paper to the card.

I really like how the card turned out and I hope that you do too. Please let me know what you think.

Thank You!!!!!
